Bill Prep and Surveying Ltd has grown strongly since being established in 2005.

We are a small team of surveyors from main contracting backgrounds. We are enthusiastic and offer a proactive and professional service. Although based in Kent, our ability to receive large amounts of electronic data enables us to operate nationally .

We formed primarily to provide high quality and flexible surveying services to the main contracting sector of the construction industry. Fairly early in our development we identified bill preparation as the core of our business.

Our experience in the industry demonstrated to us that the quality of bills produced for main contractors especially in a design and build situation was generally poor, this was largely due to the lack of detailed design available at tender stage.

We feel that what is not shown on the drawing is as important as what is shown. We have found our current client base strongly favour our pro active approach of making and identifying assessments instead of qualifying exclusions or seeking clarifications from the design team. This approach enables us to turn projects around quickly. The benefit of this is that it gives the estimating teams more time to prepare their tenders and removes the bother of a data exchange of receiving and responding to queries.
